REGISTRATION 2010
The FHS Varsity Black Kats Football team will carry 40 – 45 men this year. Tryouts begin Tuesday, Aug 17 @ 9am & 6pm. There will be a Parent’s Information BBQ @ 6pm. We can answer questions that you might have and you can take a look at the volunteer positions that we will need to fill for the 2010 season.
Registration cost this year is $300.00, this includes all game/practice gear, away game bus costs, insurance, school team fees, and any medical taping that is required. Players will be responsible to purchase their own mouth guards (mandatory at all games and practices) and cleats (no steel spikes).
A $125.00 refundable gear deposit chq, (post dated Nov 15, 2010), is also required. They will be returned at the end of the season and ONLY when ALL gear has been returned. This cheque will be deposited in the team account after Nov 15 if all gear is not returned by then.
Registration cheques are to be dated no later than Aug 31, 2010. Made out to the ‘FHS Black Kats Varsity Football Team’. NO game gear will be passed out until all forms and cheques have been submitted to the team. Any player who can’t for any reason make payment by this date should speak to Pattie Durling so that other arrangements can be made. All players are required to pay in full.
The team requires the forms (Medical Information / Registration Form / Code of Conduct) all found on the Football team web page to be completed and returned to Coach Casey or Pattie Durling, along with both cheques as soon as possible. Please inform us immediately of any medical conditions that we need to be aware of.
Refunds – There will be NO refunds made unless there is a Medical reason why your son can no longer play. The refund amount will be prorated.
